Finland

From June 1995 to July
1997, Jason served a
mission for the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints in Finland.  On
October 22, 2006, a
temple was dedicated in
Finland by President
Gordon B. Hinckley.  
Jason and Stephanie
traveled to Finland for the
dedication.

Finland is one of the most beautiful places
on earth, with over 187,000 lakes.  

We stayed in Finland for about a week with the
Rosenberg family (above).  From right to left they are
Jenna, Pirjo, Johanna, Joni, and Keijo.

October 21, was Jason's
32nd birthday, and we
celebrated with the
Rosenbergs.  Jason also
celebrated his 21st birthday
with the Rosenbergs as a
missionary.

Although Jason served in various places all across Finland, his first and last area
was Lahti.  We spent most of our time in and around Lahti, including visiting some
local members, including Brother and Sister Reijonen (above) and visiting the
Lahti chapel (below right).
